Leola Dahl

She was born on April 17, 1930, in Detroit a daughter of the late William and Olive (Laity) Sampson.

Leola graduated from Southeastern High School in Detroit.

She was united in marriage to Steve Farkas they had four children. After his passing, Leola was married to Roy Dahl on July 22, 1988. They had 32 years of marriage and enjoyed traveling to Europe and all over the United States.

Leola was employed at Cypress Manor in Hancock and at JCPenny in Houghton.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing.

Preceding her in death was her first husband Steve and a brother Bill.

Leola was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Dollar Bay.

Surviving are: Her Husband Roy; Children: Danny Farkas of Sundusky, Michigan, Nancy Farkas of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Larry (Lori) Farkas of Muskegon, Michigan, and Kenneth Farkas of Baraga; Six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 23, 2021, at 11 a.m. in Bethany Baptist Church in Dollar Bay with Pastor Caleb Jackson to officiate.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 10-11 a.m.
