Glenn Shawn Dulong Klobuchar
LAKE LINDEN — Glenn Shawn Dulong Klobuchar, 38, of Rice Lake Road near Lake Linden, passed away at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital, on October 27, 2021.
He was born on March 1, 1983, a son of Glenn and Patricia (Dulong) Klobuchar.
He attended Lake Linden-Hubbell High School. He graduated from the Hancock Alternative School and later, Finlandia, with a degree in criminal justice.
He enlisted in the United States Army, serving in Iraq, where he suffered a head injury.
He was a collector of many things and he enjoyed walks with his dog.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Patricia; and grandparents, Germaine and John Klobuchar and Reuben “Red” and Valerie Dulong.
He is survived by: his father, Glenn J. of Rice Lake Road; aunts and uncles, Charlene (Gerald) Lokajarvi, Keith “Keido” (Joanne) Klobuchar, Robin Mallet, Candance (Jeff) Mudrock, Kenny (Janet) Dulong, Carol (Gordon) Wetelainen, Barbara (Karl Wanink) Robbins, Gloria LaBonte, and Elaine (John Laitinen) Dulong; special friend, Joanie (Tony) Dupuis; along with many cousins and friends.
The visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden. The Copper Country Veterans will have a military service at the conclusion of the visitation. Burial will be at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden.
