Jeffery Hartman Reynolds

Jeffery Hartman Reynolds, born July 20, 1978, to Paul and Jayne Reynolds graduated from Earth’s Angel to Heaven’s Angel on April 3, 2023. Jeffery taught the people who had the honor of knowing him tenacity and grace. He was also a stubborn soul who had the innate ability to hold his ground when he didn’t want to do something–going boneless was his forte. Jeffery, though nonverbal, was an effective communicator. He knew what he wanted and knew how to get it. He loved his car rides and had great taste in music…no sad jazz for him! He was a wizard with strings and balloons were his favorite gift! In true Yooper spirit, a beer couldn’t be left unattended and he enjoyed the times he was taken off-roading. Jeffery brought joy to everyone. He was truly a beautiful soul whom the light of the Lord spilled out of.

He will be deeply missed by his mother, father, sisters, Shanna Reynolds and Courtney (Greg)

Archambeau, niece Chelsea, nephews Greg, and Kyle Archambeau, great-nephew Gregory Archambeau and his niece Aurora Wierenga, who shared many ice cream dates with her uncle.

Jeffery will also be missed by his many great-aunts and great-uncles, aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, friends, and his direct care staff at both Atlantic and, the former, Lakeside houses.

He was preceded in death by great-grandmother Lavetta Zenner, paternal grandparents George and Mary Lou Reynolds, maternal grandparents Jay, and Irene Lanctot, many great-aunts and great-uncles, and his aunt Alice Reynolds.

In the words of Mark Twain, “The best way to cheer yourself is to try to cheer someone else up.” Go out and do this in honor of Jeff.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 12 p.m. with Fr. Tom Merkel to officiate. A luncheon will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made toward funeral costs to Jayne Reynolds at Breakwater Federal Credit Union.
