Vincent Morin
Feb. 14 1991- April 23, 2025

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Vincent Tyler Morin, a devoted soldier, father, and friend.
Born on Feb. 14, 1991, at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette, Vincent lived a life dedicated to service, courage, and kindness. From a young age, Vincent embraced sports and the great outdoors, playing hockey, baseball, and later joining the Hancock High School football team. Vincent could strike up a conversation with anyone, and his warmth made him a joy to be around.
At just 17 years old, Vincent felt called to a life of military service. He joined the U.S. Army in 2009 and quickly rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant. He served until 2012, re-enlisted in 2014, and continued his service until 2020 when he was honorably medically discharged. During his service, he was deployed twice to Afghanistan and once to Iraq.
Throughout his military career, Vincent earned numerous badges and medals, including the Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, Army Service Ribbon, and National Defense Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Medal, and the NATO ISAF Medal for service in Afghanistan, reflecting his unwavering commitment and sacrifices for his country.
Despite being wounded in battle, his loyalty to his fellow soldiers, dedication to his country, and strong sense of honor compelled him to complete another tour. Above all, Vincent was a man of deep compassion, selflessness, and resilience. He was a true soldier, American hero, leader, friend, father, brother, and the best son a parent could ask for.
Vincent is survived by his infant son; his significant other, Sydney; his father, David Morin; his mother, Deanna Tendrup; his sister, Samantha Morin; grandmother, Bonnie Morin; as well as extended family, including, Aunt Connie (Patrick) Fallon, Great Uncle Don, Uncle Larry (Carol), Aunt Gail, Aunt Sue (Manuel), Uncle Bruce, Aunt Julie (Scott), Uncle Henry (Florissa), Uncle Steve, Uncle Paul (Bonnie), Aunt Karen (Jasper), Aunt Jeanetta (Jeff), Aunt Janice, Uncle Doug, Aunt Tina (Bob); and numerous cousins and military family.
Vincent was preceded in death by his Grandpa Philip Morin, Grandma Darlene, Grandpa Henry, Uncle Mike, Uncle Bill, Uncle Albert; and his childhood friend, Micheal Abbott.
His legacy will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing he was deeply cherished and will never be forgotten.
Please join us Saturday, June 7, for a visitation from 10-11 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection Parish in Hancock, followed immediately by a memorial mass with Fr. Corey Litzner officiating. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock afterwards.
