Elaine Peters (Lakanen), of Birch Run, and formerly of Chassell, age 87, passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. She will be interred with a graveside ceremony Monday, July 13, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the Chassell Township Cemetery.
