To The Editor,

On behalf of the Barkell Elementary PTO, I would like to thank everyone who played a role in the building of the new playground at Barkell Elementary School in Hancock! Thank you to all the parents, grandparents, teachers, staff members, community members and students who helped fundraise for and build the new playground! Thank you also to the local businesses who contributed to the playground through fundraisers, donations and/or discounts:

Kaleva Cafe, 41 Lumber, McGann Building Supply, Thrivent Financial, Superior Sand & Gravel, and Amy J’s. A special “thank you” to Dane Andress at DTA Contracting for donating many hours of hard work and expertise towards the construction of the new playground. It was truly a community effort and we are so thankful for everyone involved! THANK YOU!!!
