The members of the Keweenaw Green Burial Association (KGBA) appreciate the recent Daily Mining Gazette coverage of the event we sponsored, the workshop on home funerals.

We would like your readers to know that in our interactions with local funeral directors, we have always found them to be honest, conscientious, and eager to help families achieve their wishes for funerals and burials or cremations of their loved ones.

As stated in the article, planning ahead with your funeral director and family is essential if you want your wishes regarding funerals or burials to be honored.
