To the editor:

Truth is revolting in the streets of America, and it is fighting for its soul. The democratic experiment we, as a nation, have known for over 200 years is at stake.

President Trump is a pathological liar. Billionaire Trump used lies and deceit during the campaign and new ones when in office. Trump promotes fake news stories such as fabricated stories of terrorism attacks, voter fraud, paid protestors, the press it the enemy of America, etc. Trump uses this created propaganda to promote his dystopian view of society, his autocratic agenda and build his ego.

The free press, the right to assemble and protest peacefully are rights guaranteed by our constitution. Now is the time to join the revolution and stand up for truth in government and protest against the Trump darkness. Talk to your neighbors, call your congressional representatives and let your concerns be heard. It is possible to avoid violent political upheaval.
