Trump delivers what he promises

To the editor:

I wish to thank Eugene Johnson of Eagle Harbor, MI in his Oct. 22 letter to the Gazette for pointing out the fact that there is a vast plethora of socialist programs in our country, enough to choke a cormorant.

Franklin D. Roosevelt started the transformation from the old Southern Dixicrat agricultural plantation to the modern urban plantation. Lyndon B. Johnson finished it with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the help of Republicans House support of 80 percent compared to the Democratic support of only 61 percent and 82 percent Senate Republicans compared to 69 percent Democrats. Notwithstanding a lot of busy work by Andrew Jackson, Martin Van Buren and Woodrow Wilson, to name just a few Democrats.

If you want to give up your freedom of owning a gun for some paltry benefit for not working and become one of the urban plantation that has earned the title of Learned Helplessness, then go for it. It’s all free, compliments of the Democratic (Socialist) Party. Including a minimum stipend and all the destructive social policies that promote illegitimacy, crime and civic breakdown.

As for the people collecting Social Security, they deserve it because they have paid into it. President Trump said he would not cut social programs, and I believe him, regardless what other politicians might say. You can bank on it.

Eventually President Trump will provide a cheaper and more comprehensive medical insurance program than the ACA. He is the only president who delivers what he promises.

Tax cuts do not add to the national debt, because with more people working, the government makes more money in taxes, which is the key to a successful administration.

Philosophically President Trump is the embodiment of Abraham Lincoln in saving our country today. The only true Socialistic Security is the family, if you don’t have that, you have nothing.
