To the editor:

On Saturday, September 7, the Life Outreach Center of Houghton and Baraga Counties held a volunteer picnic at Chassell Centennial Park with 28 people in attendance. The social went very well, and numerous door prizes were given away in appreciation for the efforts of the volunteers.
