To the editor:

Stand up for religious freedom in the media and in our courts. Stand up for “in God we trust” as our national motto. Stand up for “one nation under God” in our Pledge of Allegiance. Stand up for your right to live out your faith every day as your conscience guides you.

Stand up and fight against the rise of socialism. Stand up for the Constitution, the balance of power and the electoral college. Stand up for life and work to defund Planned Parenthood. Stand up and fight for the sanctity of God-ordained marriage and family.

I’m sure many of us can remember singing the following song in church: “Stand up, stand up for Jesus. Stand in His strength alone. The arm of flesh will fail you, ye dare not trust your own. Put on the Gospel armor, and watching unto prayer, where duty calls or danger, be never wanting there.”

So let’s all stand up for Jesus in these closing days of time.
