This event is put on the by The Houghton/Hancock Lions Club along with the help of volunteers from the community. An instrumental group to the success of the event is the student athletes from the Michigan Tech football team. Coach Milbrath has organized for players to volunteer their time and services for the past several years. This year was no different, even during this difficult time.

Community involvement like this has been so important in making the annual barbecue such a big success. The Lions Club looks forward to working with this fine group of volunteers in the future. Thank you to all those who helped!
