HANCOCK — Joslynnn Perala has committed to play for the Finlandia University volleyball team.

Perala had a very strong four-year career at Lake Linden-Hubbell. As a senior, she was Copper Mountain Conference MVP, All-Copper County Division First team and All-U.P. Division 4 honorable mention.

Perala was the conference Defensive Player of the Year and All-Copper County Division First team as a junior. She helped the Lakes win three Class D/Division 4 District championships.

“I’m excited to announce that Joslynn Perala will be joining Finlandia volleyball this fall,” Finlandia head coach Brian Lamppa said. “She is an excellent student-athlete and we are blessed to have her join us here. Being an alumni of LLHS myself, it is an honor to have one of the top local volleyball players choose Finlandia. Thanks, to Joslynn’s coach Mandy Perreault and parents for doing a great job in raising her and coaching her.”
