Larue commits to Finlandia baseball
HANCOCK — Brandon Larue (Crivitz, Wis.) has committed to play for the Finlandia University baseball team.
“I’m excited to get Brandon from Milwaukee Area Technical College,” Finlandia head coach Evan Brandt said. “He is a pitcher that will provide leadership and stability to our bullpen. Brandon has big upside and with COVID retains three years of eligibility. I’m excited to see how he can develop under coach Purdy during that time. Brandon has a ton of good experience at a tough level of Junior College Baseball. We will look to him out of the bullpen to give us competitive innings and keep us in the game.”
Larue joins Andrew Andrade (Riverside, Calif.), Hector Camacho (Winter Haven, Fla.), Eastyn Culp (Vancouver, Wash.), Dominic Duprie (Ecorse, Mich.) and Hunter Futrell (Leander, Texas) in the third wave of the 2021 recruiting class. There are 20 total players so far in the class.
