Rain suspends Twilight Baseball League games
HANCOCK — Rain crept into Twilight Baseball League action Tuesday and suspended both games until another day.
Superior National Bank-Stanton led REL Inc.-Mohawk Technologies 6-0 after three innings before a steady downpour suspended play. Dean Kangas-State Farm led Garnet Garage-Subway 5-0 in the fourth inning before the game was suspended.
Both games will continue when the same teams are scheduled to play again Aug. 11. Tuesday’s games will be completed before playing the Aug. 11 games.
Dean Kangas-State Farm visits REL Inc.-Mohawk Technologies at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Driving Park. SNB-Stanton plays Garnet Garage-Subway at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Stanton Field.
