Eight teams from area churches participated in the Copper Country Slow Pitch Church Softball League this Summer. Eleven regular season games were followed by an evening of playoffs. It was a hometown matchup as first seed Evangel 2 (11-0) met second seed Evangel 1 (8-3) in the championship game on Tuesday, Aug. 11. 

Evangel 2 maintained the lead and was awarded the league’s perpetual Bergstedt Trophy.  Congratulations to Evangel 2 as the 2020 Church Softball League Champions.
