He leads the WCHA with a .939 save percentage this season and is second with a 1.65 GAA. His 14 wins are fifth-most in the country.

Pietila’s save percentage is also third-best in the country behind UMass’ Filip Lindberg (.945) and Minnesota’s Jack LaFontaine (.941).

Swoyer was named Defenseman of the Week for the fourth time this year. He scored three points in the Huskies’ sweep of the Wildcats. He had two goals and an assist along with nine blocked shots. He helped the Huskies’ penalty kill unit successfully kill nine of 10 opportunities. He’s second among conference defensemen with three goals and 13 assists.
