Michigan Tech releases 2021 regular season schedule

HOUGHTON — The Michigan Tech football team announced the 2021 regular season schedule on Monday.

The Huskies play 10 games beginning with a Saturday, Sept. 4 matchup against Hillsdale. Tech’s first four games of the season are home.

Tech hosts St. Thomas on Sept. 11. Tech has a bye week the following week before hosting Grand Valley State and Davenport. The Huskies’ first road game is Oct. 9 at Wayne State. Tech then visits rival Northern Michigan Oct. 16 for the Miner’s Cup game.

The Huskies host Ferris State before two more road games at Grand Valley State and Northwood. Tech closes out the regular season hosting Saginaw Valley State on Nov. 13.

Ticket information for the regular season will be announced at a later date.

It’ll be the first action at Sherman Field at Kearly Stadium after the 2020 season was wiped out by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Huskies play two scrimmages April 17 in Duluth, Minnesota. Tech plays Minnesota Duluth at noon and Bemidji State at 2 p.m.
