HANCOCK — Freshman Christian Mendoza-Huynh has been named Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Sept. 26. 

Mendoza-Huynh had a strong week as the Lions went 2-0 on the week.  He scored two goals, including the game winner in a 4-3 win over Monmouth (Sept. 23).  FinnU was down 3-0 with 32 minutes left in that contest.

Mendoza-Huynh added a goal in a 4-1 victory versus Edgewood (Sept. 24).

This is the first time Mendoza-Huynh has won the award.

Members of the C2C are Christopher Newport, Finlandia, Mary Washington, Pratt, Salisbury, UC Santa Cruz, UW-Platteville, UW-Whitewater and Warren Wilson.
