Lions women’s hockey drops pair
Finlandia takes a tumble on road
DE PERE, Wis. – The Finlandia University women’s hockey team (0-4 NCHA, 0-8) lost 8-0 to No. 20 St. Norbert (4-0 NCHA, 6-1-2), Saturday afternoon at Resch Olympic Pavilion.
St. Norbert came out and scored three goals in the first 5:37 of the game to seal the deal.
Sophomore Laney Pasemko recorded 49 saves in relief for the Lions.
Lions shut out by Green Knights Friday
DE PERE, Wis. – The Lions lost 6-0 to the Green Knights, Friday night at Resch Olympic Pavilion.
Finlandia came out quick just missing a shot in the opening minutes. Sophomore Laney Pasemko kept the Lions in the contest with numerous great saves.
St. Norbert finally got a score with 6:26 left in the first period. The Green Knights scored twice in the second period to effectively end the game.
Pasemko ended the night with 52 saves.

Finlandia keeps to the road, Monday, Nov. 21, taking on Northland. The game is scheduled to start at 9 p.m.
