PAINESDALE — After falling behind and losing the first two sets, the Jeffers Jets volleyball team fought back and won the third set. However, the visiting Wakefield-Marenisco Cardinals bounced back with a win in the fourth set to seal the match win Thursday.

The Cardinals won the match 25-13, 25-23, 18-25, and 25-19.

Mia Nordstrom led the Jets as the only attacker in double figures with 10 kills. Taylee Rajala followed with five of her own.

Celia Randell had nine assists.
