The Wild Ones Keweenaw chapter would like to thank everyone who helped make our first native plant sale a spectacular success.

About 60 area residents purchased nearly a thousand plants, including milkweed, lance-leaf coreopsis, wild columbine, butterfly weed and more. Installed in local gardens, those plants will support many native wildlife species, from goldfinches and siskins to bumblebees and monarch butterflies.

Special thanks to the local media for publicity, including the Daily Mining Gazette, which generously ran announcements of our sale for several days.
