COPPER HARBOR — The Keweenaw County Sheriff's Department has released an update on the recovery efforts of the second person reported missing following a water incident early Saturday morning. The search began around 4 a.m. Saturday in Copper Harbor. According to the release, three people were canoeing in Copper Harbor when their canoe capsized. One of the canoeists was able to make it to shore and promptly called 911 at approximately 3:50 a.m. to report the emergency.
