HANCOCK – Few details were available Friday morning regarding a three-vehicle crash on at the intersection of Elevation Street and North Lincoln Drive, that caused traffic to slow to a crawl while the vehicles were removed and the scene was cleared. At approximately 7:58 a.m., Hancock City Police officers responded to a call from one of the drivers involved in the accident, Becky Ylitalo, administrative assistant at the police department, said. Slippery conditions were blamed on the incident. No additional details were available at press time Friday.

The city is looking for residents interested in serving on either the Board of Review (BOR) or the Transit Local Advisory Council (LAC). The Board of Review meets for two days in March, one day in July and one day in December. BOR training is offered to the individual appointed.
