• “A Toast to Big Annie!” at the Calumet Theatre begins with a free screening of “Red Metal: The Copper Country Strike of 1913” from 6:30 to 7:30. p.m. Bar opens at 6 p.m. Limited tickets are available at $65 per person to attend a fundraising reception in the ballroom from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. where you will be welcomed with piano music by Paul Behn, followed by an exclusive talk by author Steve Lehto, appetizers from Miscowaubik, live music by The Jones Brothers and a silent auction. • Coat the Copper Country. We are collecting clean, new or gently used coats, snowpants, boots, waterproof gloves/mittens, hats and scarves for all ages, especially children (and men). Donations can be dropped off donations at The Salvation Army.
