• CCAM & TSA Angel Tree Christmas Programs. If you would like to sponsor a child or family in one of these “Angel Tree” programs contact either The Salvation Army at 906-482-3420 or the Copper Country Angel Mission through their website.
November 15
• Hunters Widow Craft Show 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Copper Country Mall.
• Warm up with a bowl of soup and support community education at the same time this weekend in Hancock. The Finnish American Folk School will host a Soup Bowl Fundraiser on Saturday, November 15 from 11am-1pm in Skyline Commons room 323 located at 200 Michigan St. in Hancock. With a $20 donation, attendees can choose a one-of-a-kind bowl made by hand in the Folk School Ceramics Studio and fill it with hot soup generously donated by Keweenaw Co-op, Griffin Family Café, and 5th & Elm. The event also aims to help fill local food pantry shelves and participants are asked to bring along shelf stable food items for a group donation to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Hancock.
• Hancock Cool Season Tori, 9 a.m. – noon, HOCO. The Hancock Winter Tori is held at the HOCO, with fresh produce, baked goods, and handmade gifts with local flavor.
November 16
• Let’s Eat Community Meals, 4-5:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chassell. Sponsored by the church under the leadership of Paster Soren Schmidt with help from the Confirmation Class.These meals welcome guests of all ages and the are free.
