Better Together April 10

“Better Together” will meet from 9:30 - 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10 at Zion Lutheran Church, 400 Ingot Street in Hancock. The speaker will be Tonya Rowe. The title of her talk is “Confidence in God.” All area women are cordially invited to attend this fun event. The goal of this organization is to bring women together to find friendship, support and encouragement. A brunch will be served with a suggested donation of $10. Lumberjack Days returning to Baraga

The 2024 Baraga County Lumberjack Days will be returning Wednesday and Thursday. The fun-filled schedule includes a street dance, pancake breakfast, children’s parade, games and a bean bag tournament. Tickets for a 50/50 raffle will be sold for $5 each, and bean bag tournament rules can be found at baragalumberjackdays.com.  The annual Lumberjack Days began in 1969, when a group of citizens organized to form a Centennial Celebration for Baraga Township.
