Free meals offered on second Wednesdays of month

ATLANTIC MINE — Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Atlantic Mine will be hosting their Soup’s On free meals on the second Wednesday of each month. The meals can be picked up between 4 and 6 p.m. The meal contains soup, bread, fruit and a dessert. The church is located at 47281 Adventure Street in Atlantic Mine. Veterans Health Fair planned for Saturday

HANCOCK -- The Alfred Erickson American Legion Post 186 will host a Veterans Health Fair from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the post, 1308 Quincy St. in Hancock. The event is free to all veterans. No appointment, DD-214 or military ID will be necessary. Tests available include blood pressure, vital signs, oxygen saturation, blood sugar and weight and body mass index.
