Develop your novel idea with upcoming pre-writing workshop at CCCAC

HANCOCK – Join author Stephanie Flint in this workshop that prepares students to write a novel or short story. Each class will go in-depth about various topics related to developing a novel, in order to allow more experienced writers a chance to hone their craft while also providing newer writers a chance to get a feel for writing a first draft. Session 1: Developing the premise of your story, Session 2: Characterizing your protagonist and antagonist, Session 3: Developing a plot, and Session 4: Outline critique.

This workshop takes place at the Copper Country Community Arts Center located at 126 Quincy Street in Hancock on Tuesdays, Feb. 4, 11, 18, & 25 from 4-6 p.m. (four sessions). The fee is $80 for Arts Center members; $90 non-members. Deadline to register is Jan. 30. Call 906-482-2333 for more information or to register.
