Hancock Library launches hosts after-school Code Club

The Hancock School Public Library is kicking off a new after-school club. Learn how to make apps, games and websites at their new Code Club. Code Club is hosted in the library every Tuesday, from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. beginning Feb. 18.

Using a proprietary coding software called Prenda, participants get to go at their own pace and work on whatever is interesting to them. You may have some kids working with robots, others on websites, and others still on building a video game. Code Club is open to all area students in grades 4 – 12.

Code Club is made possible thanks to a grant from the Institute for Museum and Library Services.

Please contact the Hancock School Public Library at 906-487-5925 x8005 or by email at bashburn@pldl.org for more information.
