Gogebic Community College COVID-19 adjusted services

Gogebic Community College, pursuant with Governor Whitmer’s executive order, has taken the next step of limiting access to facilities and virtualizing classrooms and work environments.

“All GCC education and operations will continue through distance delivery and working remotely through approximately April 17, 2020,” Dr. George McNulty, GCC President, said. “While challenging, we are still able to maintain a form of our primary mission.”

Students and the community are encouraged to check the home page of the website for the most up-to-date information: gogebic.edu. Individuals needing assistance are encouraged to make contact with faculty and staff remotely as the college continues to operate. The faculty and staff directory is located on the home page under the About tab on the GCC website or at the following link: https://www.gogebic.edu/AboutUs/directory.html

Per the executive order, all campus facilities are closed until further notice. Copper Country Center students and/or faculty can access the internet in the back parking lot. The service extends directly out from the back entrance door. “We are navigating through this successfully while also keeping an eye on the upcoming summer and fall semesters,” said Dr. McNulty.

For any questions, please call or email the President’s office: (906) 307-1201 or president@gogebic.edu.
