Yoopers go topless for the Brody Strong Foundation

For the second year in a row, we will participate in global Go Topless Day. This is a world-wide event, usually held on the third Saturday in May to raise money for charities. This year the single day event was postponed and groups were encouraged to plan their own events. Our charity is the Brody Strong Foundation, named for Brody Etelamaki after he lost his battle with pediatric brain cancer (Glioblastoma Multiforme.)

We will meet at the Baraga County Snowdrifters’ clubhouse on Menge Creek Road in Baraga on Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. From there we will cruise and see some of the sites around Baraga County and finish up at the Finn’s in Skanee.

Refreshments will not be provided, however food is available to order at the Finn’s. Please bring beverages, snacks, or picnic style food for the course of the ride. Please be considerate of others and maintain social distancing or use of masks when out of your vehicle. Please do not drink and drive. ORV stickers/Trail permits are required by the DNR on all trails.

All vehicles are welcome, regardless of removability of the top. In the event of inclimate weather, there is no requirement to remove your top if removable. $10 entry for each vehicle, door prizes and 50/50 to be held. All proceeds will go to the Brody Strong Foundation.
