Range Lions Club October meeting

SOUTH RANGE — The Range Lions held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, Oct. 19 at the Range Lounge in South Range.

The Range Lions announced the recipient of their Helmuth Steinhill Scholarship for $500 went to Jeffers High School senior Katrina Berriman.

The following Range Lions were recognized by a letter of recognition and a chevron pin for their years of service to Lionism by Lions International President Dr. Jung Yul Choi as follows:

— Lion John Baima, 20 years

— Lion Al Kommes, 20 years

— Lion Donald Jarman, 35 years

Lion Duane Pangrazzi, 45 years.

The Range Lions donated $100 to the Painesdale Mine and Shaft Foundation in memory of Lion Anton Pintar.

The Range Lions donated $200 each to the following service organizations:

— Local Chapter of St. Vincent De Paul Society

— Local chapter of the Salvation Army

— Local Chapter of Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly
