Impola named middle school principal

Impola

HANCOCK — Hancock Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Steve Patchin announced Hannah Impola as the district’s new middle school principal. Impola has taught mathematics the last two school years at Hancock.

“We have felt very fortunate to have someone of Hannah’s abilities both in the classroom and as a huge part of our athletics programs the past couple of years,” said Patchin. “Promoting her to principal allows us to tap into even more of her talents, which will be an added benefit for our students and parents.”

Prior to joining Hancock Public Schools, Impola taught middle school mathematics in the state of Minnesota for ten years. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Concordia College in 2007, and her master’s from Concordia University in 2018.

“I am really excited about this wonderful opportunity,” stated Impola. “We can’t wait to continue the positive changes and development of our own unique culture at Hancock Middle School.

“I would like to thank Superintendent Patchin, the school board, and everyone else involved with providing me with this awesome challenge.”

Impola starts her middle school principal duties immediately. Hancock Public Schools start classes on Sept. 7.

Starting at $4.00/week.
