2021 Oktoberfest comes to South Range

SOUTH RANGE — Saturday, Oct. 9 is Oktoberfest in South Range.

The day begins at 8 a.m. with the Range Lions Pancake Breakfast and bake sale at Veteran’s Memorial Park and goes till noon.

The Jeffers High School 5k walk/run and 10k race will be at Veterans Memorial Park at 9 a.m.

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. will be Fun in the Park with an UPPCO safety demonstration and a bouncy house for only $5.

The Keweenaw Brewery will have an open house from noon to 2 p.m.

The South Range Museum will be offering tours from 1 to 3 p.m.

Food and refreshments, featuring hotdogs, brats, sauerkraut, chips, and pretzels will be available from 2 to 7 p.m. at the South Range VFW where you can also enjoy live music.

Live music at the South Range VFW starts at 3 p.m. with Jim and Terri Enretti playing traditional Polka and German style music until 6 p.m. The Supersuits will be playing 50s and 60s music from 7 to 10 p.m. Admission fee is only $5 and there will be a 50/50 raffle with tickets selling one for a dollar or six tickets for $5.
