The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency held its first meeting with the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community in Michigan to begin a technical assistance project funded by the American Rescue Plan. BARAGA — A Baraga County business suffered extensive damage in a fire early Friday morning. The fire at Carla’s Inn and Restaurant in Keweenaw Bay was reported about 1:30 a.m., the Michigan State Police Calumet Post said in a release.
