2021 Oktoberfest comes to South Range

SOUTH RANGE — Saturday, Oct. 9 is Oktoberfest in South Range. The day begins at 8 a.m. with the Range Lions Pancake Breakfast and bake sale at Veteran's Memorial Park and goes till noon. The Jeffers High School 5k walk/run and 10k race will be at Veterans Memorial Park at 9 a.m. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. will be Fun in the Park with an UPPCO safety demonstration and a bouncy house for only $5. HOUGHTON — Due to the construction project near the Portage Lake District Library, the front door access will be unavailable starting Wednesday, Sept. 29, until further notice. The west end library entrance will be open. Park at the west end of the lower parking deck to access the staircase to the west end entrance of the library.
