LAURIUM — Barbara C. Lewis, 86, a former Copper Country resident passed away on Sunday October 24, 2021, following a short illness. She was born on October 6, 1935, in Laurium, Michigan to Richard and Cecilia (Schneller) Rowe. She attended the local schools and graduated from Lake Linden High School with the Class of 1953. Following high school, Barb went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan. Barb’s career began in the field of Children’s Psychology at the University of Michigan. She was the youngest child of the late Natale and Mary Lencioni. She attended Sacred Heart School in Laurium and graduated with the class of 1955.
