Michigan officials are cautioning drivers to slow down and pay attention while on the roads after seeing crashes and serious injuries rise in the state and nationally in 2021. One of the biggest events of summer returns after a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Today and Sunday, Pictured Rocks Days returns at Binsfeld Bayshore Park in Munising. Northern Agility 22-1 a unique happening in area

The Munising area and Sawyer International Airport will look a little different later this month. The Michigan Air National Guard announced that on June 27-29, it will partner with Air Force Special Operations Command, the Michigan Department of Transportation and local agencies to host exercise Northern Agility 22-1. This prepares military aircrews for operations in “austere” environments under the Air Force’s Agile Combat Employment doctrine. The world hurtles forward at high speeds, leaving too many rural Michigan families behind.
