CALUMET — The Calumet Wolverines recorded an 8-3 victory over the Portage Lake Pioneers Friday at the Calumet Colosseum.

Calumet jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period thanks to two goals from Logan Rastello and a score from Ed Beiring.

Portage Lake evened the game at 3 with goals from Anthony Harris, Christopher Chegwidden and Jonathan Bostwick.

The Wolverines had the go-ahead goal from Mike Babcock before Beiring scored twice, Rory Anderson tallied another goal and Rastello scored his final goal of the night.

The two teams will play at the Dee tonight at 7:30 p.m.
