Junior Matt Ojala (Calumet) was named West-PAC Player of the Year, Friday.

Calumet’s Mike Ojala and West Iron County’s Dan Shive were named co-coaches of the year.

The West-PAC First Team consists of junior George Butvilas and sophomore Brad Sirard of Houghton, senior Steven Nelson and junior Caden Pellizzer of WIC, junior Travis Ojala of Calumet, and junior Reese Waara of L’Anse.

The second team is made up of Hancock juniors Devin Raasio and Joe Watson, Calumet senior Cooper Twardzik and junior James Swanson and senior Neil Tomasoki of WIC.

Calumet sophomore Elijah McParlan and L’Anse junior Alec Rajala were both awarded honorable mentions.
