HOUGHTON — The Michigan Tech at Northern Michigan hockey game, originally scheduled for Friday at the Berry Events Center in Marquette, has been moved to 6:07 p.m. Sunday.

The schedule change is due to health and safety precautions within Northern Michigan’s hockey program.

The NMU at Tech game, set for Saturday at the John MacInnes Student Ice Arena in Houghton, will still be played as scheduled. Puck drop is also set for 6:07 p.m.

It’s a big series for both teams.

The Huskies (12-8-1, 9-5 CCHA) are third in the conference with 29 points, behind Minnesota State and Bemidji State. Michigan Tech is coming off a sweep at Lake Superior State last weekend.

Northern Michigan (13-9-1, 7-8-1) is fifth in the conference with 21 points and split against Minnesota State last weekend.
