LAKE LINDEN — Emily Jokela set a Lake Linden-Hubbell record with 48 points in the Lakes’ 70-62 win against Dollar Bay-Tamarack City on Monday night.

Jokela hit seven 3-pointers, also a school record. She scored 24 points by halftime, including five triples.

Ashlea Datto led Dollar Bay-TC with 22 points. She hit four 3-pointers and nearly led the Blue Bolts to a fourth-quarter rally past the Lakes.

Girls: Ironwood 49, Ontonagon 44

IRONWOOD — Ironwood held off a fourth-quarter rally by Ontonagon for a win on Monday.

The Gladiators outscored the Red Devils by 10 points in the fourth, but it was too little too late. MaKennah Uotila paced the Gladiators with 20 points.

Savannah Hannu led Ironwood with 17 points.

BARAGA — Bryce Buzzo’s 17 points led the Gladiators over the Vikings on Monday.

Ike Bramlett scored 13 points for Ontonagon. Ryan Preiss added 12 points.

Daniel Nieskis led Baraga with 22 points.
