Houghton High School senior Kade Farrell and head coach Joe Romano received two of the top WestPAC baseball accolades this year.

Farrell was named the WestPAC Player of the Year, while Romano was named Coach of the Year.

Iron Mountain’s Carson McLean was named PItcher of the Year.

Farrell’s teammates Gaborik Carlson, Reed Heathman, Dylan Primeau, Dylan Horning and Nick Horning were First Team selections. Jonah Horning was a Second Team selection. Cam Cishcke received honorable mention.

Calumet’s Dryden Nelson was also named to the First Team.

Hancock’s Brandon Pietila, Bryce Hanner, Chad Nordstrom and Ned Larson were named Second Team selections.

Calumet’s Carter Kilpela was also a Second Team selection.
