HANCOCK — Race organizers have announced the 2026 Canal Run, scheduled for today has officially been canceled. In a post on the Canal Run's Facebook page, organizers said, "The race is officially canceled for 2026. Air quality is already on very edge of our acceptable level and all forecasting appears conditions will not improve - and likely will deteriorate significantly.
