HOUGHTON — 42-year old Houghton County man Joshua LaCasse was sentenced to serve 9 to 20 years in a Michigan state prison Monday for delivery and manufacturing of methamphetamine. LaCasse was arraigned in February on one count of delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine, one count of racketeering and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. LaCasse pleaded guilty to the meth-related charge. The other charges were dropped by the prosecution in exchange for the guilty plea.
