Tyranny defined

To the editor: The irony of the Baraga County board to use their vow to the Constitution to justify the refusal to follow the rule of law. The Constitution was written because of the failed, bottom up power approach through The Articles of Confederation. Men like Franklin, Washington, Madison, and Hamilton, formed an effort to replace that document. The document they came up with is the Constitution. They were known as Federalists, and represented primarily urbane industrial areas. The opposition, antifederalists, base was rural in nature and still advocated for more local power. ...

Open letter to our leaders

To the editor: As elected officials it is your job to study verifiable information on various issues to make informed decisions on governmental matters that effect your constituents and inform and educate the electorate based upon facts, not feelings or baseless beliefs. To date there is no verifiable election or voter fraud that would change the outcome of the 2020 election according to the following people or entities: U. S. Bergman must resign

To the editor: Our Representative in Congress, Jack Bergman, must resign immediately. Your actions have undermined the free and fair elections of the United States and for the first time in the history of this country a peaceful transfer of power was disrupted with violence, and the traitorous flag of the Confederacy was traipsed through the ...

Why I wear a mask

To the editor: I wear a mask because I care about my friends and neighbors. Because I care about my friends and neighbors, I care about their health. Because I care about their health, I don’t want them to get sick or die with Covid 19. And I know the best thing I can do as an individual to decrease the risk of catching Covid 19 and possibly giving it to someone else, causing them to get sick or die, is to wear a mask in public. I care about my friends and neighbors, so I wear a mask.

Bergman should resign

To the editor: To Those Concerned about US Capitol Attacks, After the horrific events of Wednesday, January 6, when thousands of domestic terrorists stormed the hallowed Capitol of the United States, we must stand again for the Constitution and the validity of the November 2020 election. There was no voter fraud, all states, including Michigan, verified the election, and eventually the results were accepted by both houses of Congress in the early hours of January 7. These unprecedented times require a response from each one of us in our own ways: contact Representative Jack ...
