• MI-TRALE meeting, 7 p.m. Stannard Township Hall, Bruce Crossing. Anyone interested in maintaining ATV and snowmobile trails in the western U.P. is invited. A ZOOM option is now available for virtual attendance of meetings. Contact Donna Wolf at mi-trale.pr@gmail.com for connection instructions.

• Blood Drive – Hancock, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Canal View – Houghton County, 1100 Quincy St, Hancock. The U.P. Regional Blood Center is holding this blood drive. Walk-ins are welcome.
February 6
• Free Soup Supper – Pelkie 6 p.m. Mission United Church in Pelkie, Mi. invites the public to a free chili soup supper on Friday at 6 pm. Breads, desserts and beverages will also be served.
February 7
• Barnelopet 2026, Free non-competitive kids’ ski race for ages 3-17. Registration 9:30 a.m. with the race starting at 10:30 a.m.AM. Location is Four Seasons Chalet on Maasto Hiito Trail, Hancock. Race distances: 1km, 2km, 4km, 6km. Medals, cookies, and hot chocolate distributed to participants. For more information and pre-registration go to skitigers.com
• Cabin Fever Reliever. Tree House Family Resources will host a family Cabin Fever Reliever at the Nara Nature Park Chalet from 10 a.m. to noon. Enjoy a snack and craft, along with snowshoeing, sledding, a scavenger hunt, a book giveaway and other indoor and outdoor activities. Keweenaw Co+op will provide the snack & Dunkin Donuts will be providing coffee! Bundle up, bring the kids, and come enjoy some fresh air and family fun!
• Hancock Cool Season Tori 9 a.m. – noon, HOCO. The Hancock Winter Tori is held at the HOCO, with fresh produce, baked goods, and handmade gifts with local flavor.
February 14
• South Range 4th of July Committee Presents the 14th Annual Valentine’s Day Dance at the Range Lounge in South Range. Dance is from 7 – 11 p.m. with a $5 entry fee.
