June 8 • Chassell-Houghton Trail meeting. 6:30 p.m. Chassell Fire Dept. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources will hold a public meeting for property owners in both Chassell Township and Portage Township who own land adjacent to the DNR Trail running between Chassell and Houghton. The public is invited to join them for a free art project. Come join them for a different art project each month. • Lake Linden Farmers Market, 3 - 6 p.m. Lake Linden Park. • Roller Skating at the Gipp. 6-9 p.m. 200 Isle Royale st. Laurium. Representatives from the Baraga County Shelter Home will be at the Pop Up Advocacy Space at the Keweenaw Coop between with information about domestic violence, what to do if you or a loved one is experiencing intimate partner violence, and how it impacts our community.
