Calumet competes in High School Bowl

MARQUETTE – The Calumet Copper Kings played the Superior Central Cougars in the semi-finals of High School Bowl and won by a score of 280-200. Forty schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 42 years on the air. Calumet will advance to the finals when they play in the championship game, scheduled to air on Apr 4. Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Mondays at 3 p.m. Find more information on the 2019-2020 tournament at wnmutv.nmu.edu.
